Learn how cleaning status progresses from Pending to Completed, and what each stage means for you and your cleaner.
Every cleaning in Staykey follows a clear status flow. You can see where each cleaning stands at a glance, without calling or texting your cleaner.
Pending — A cleaning has been created (automatically from a stay or manually) but the notification hasn't been sent yet.
Confirmation Sent — Staykey has sent an SMS and/or email to the assigned cleaning company. The cleaner hasn't responded yet.
Scheduled — The cleaning company has confirmed the job through their portal. They've acknowledged the date, time, and property.
In Progress — The cleaner has started the job. They (or the cleaning company) marked it as started from their portal or crew dashboard.
Completed — The cleaning is done. The cleaner marked it as complete. You can see the completion time in your dashboard.
