Guest links provide secure, time-limited access to your property for each stay. Here's how to create one:

What is a Guest Link?

A guest link is a unique URL that gives your guests access to:

• Their access code for smart locks
• Control of smart devices (thermostats, lights, garage doors)
• Check-in and check-out information
• Property details and instructions

Creating a Link

1. Navigate to the "Stays" section in your dashboard
2. Click "Add Stay" or select an existing stay
3. Enter the guest's check-in and check-out dates
4. Staykey will automatically generate a unique access code
5. Click "Generate Guest Link" to create the shareable URL
6. Copy the link and send it to your guest via email or messaging

Best practices

• Verify the time zone and stay window before sharing.
• Add Wi‑Fi, parking, and entry instructions to reduce guest questions.
• Preview on mobile to confirm the lock code and devices display correctly.
• Regenerate a code if a guest reports trouble—new codes invalidate the old one automatically.

Guest links are unique, time-bound, and expire at checkout. Codes are scoped to the stay window and cleaned up automatically.
